How To Become Your Own Chiropractor

There are millions of people with back aches that would love to go to a chiropractor but just can't afford the bills. They tolerate the pain until it goes away, not knowing that their back has just adjusted to a worse position than before the pain started. It doesn't hurt anymore, but it is one step closer to chronic back pain.

If you have occasional back pain and do nothing about it, it will become chronic pain that never goes away. Each episode is more severe than the last until life becomes misery. You are likely somewhere on that journey.

If you are in pain and can't afford the chiropractor, you still need to do something about it. You need to learn how to become your own chiropractor. It is not as hard as you would be lead to believe.

You must first realize that chiropractors do one thing. They make small manual adjustments to your spine, with the ultimate goal being to realign the spine in its natural alignment. In other words, to make it straight again.

Once you understand that, you can do the same thing for yourself with two simple stretches. One straight extension exercise to stretch the muscles and soft tissues at the front of the spine, and one flexing exercise to stretch the back of the spine.

Just by doing two exercises correctly, you can do the same thing a chiropractor does. Move your spine towards its natural shape and alignment. It doesn't happen over night, but it doesn't take that long either.

All it requires is a little bit of effort on your part and you can fix your back pain at home. In fact, you will find it takes less effort to straighten and maintain your back at home than it does to get in the car and go to the chiropractors office. And it is far cheaper to boot.
